In 2013, Idaho Hand Institute opened with the mission to be a regional hand center of excellence where anyone can receive exceptional care for their upper extremity care for injuries and conditions. Don’t let our name fool you though, we treat more than just hands! Any issue affecting bones, tendons, arteries, or nerves from the finger to the shoulder, is our expertise!   • Jeffrey D. Stucki

    Orthopedic Hand & Wrist Surgeon

    Dr. Jeffrey Stucki was born in Provo, Utah and raised in Ririe, Idaho. After returning from an LDS mission to Raleigh, North Carolina, he obtained his Associates degree from Rick’s College. In 1999 he earned his Bachelor’s of Science from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, then continued his studies at Des Moines University Medical School, where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2009, Dr. Stucki graduated from Doctor’s Orthopedic Residency in Columbus, OH, and received his Fellowship Training as a Hand Surgeon from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He has served as an active member of The Boy Scouts of America, spending many years volunteering as a Scout Leader in the Inkom area as well as serving at the Treasure Mountain Scout Camp near Driggs, Idaho. Dr. Stucki’s greatest joy comes from spending time with his family. He and his wife Jackie have eight children; one boy and seven girls. They enjoy spending time outdoors and love to go 4­wheeling, fishing, hunting, camping, snow machining, and water skiing. According to his wife, Dr. Stucki is an excellent cook and gets involved in everything from decorating the birthday cakes to cooking up his famous smoked pork with his own Carolina BBQ sauce. He works hard, but also knows how to have fun. On an ideal day, he will work outside in the barn with the family and spend the evening watching a movie surrounded by his wife and children with plenty of popcorn.

  • Ryan N. Miller

    Orthopedic Hand & Wrist Surgeon

    Ryan N. Miller was born and raised in Cache Valley, Utah. He grew up working hard alongside his father at their family’s machine shop. He was taught an extremely hard work ethic by his parents who valued work, education and perseverance. It was this work ethic and encouragement that motivated him along his path of medical education and training. Dr. Miller served the people of Argentina on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is fluent in Spanish. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Utah State University. He graduated from A.T. Still University Medical School, where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Residency at St. Joseph Health Center in Youngstown Ohio, serving as Chief Resident his final year. Dr. Miller subsequently received his Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship training at the world-renowned Christine M. Kleinert Institute in Louisville, Kentucky. He thrived in these learning environments and truly found his passion working and learning in the orthopedic field. He has exceptional people skills and genuinely enjoys connecting with others. He looks forward to working with the staff and patients of the Idaho Hand Institute. Dr. Miller works extremely hard but also believes in the importance of balance. He is happiest when enjoying the outdoors and spending time with his wife Christine and their 4 children. He enjoys hunting, fishing, surfing and snowboarding.

  • Dale Belnap

    Certified Physician Assistant

    Dale Belnap is a 2013 graduate of the ISU Physician Assistant Program. A native of Inkom, he graduated from Marsh Valley High School then completed an LDS mission to Italy. He earned degrees in both Music and Psychology at Brigham Young University, after which he spent several years working in social services positions. As soon as he was able, Dale returned to Inkom, where he currently lives with his wife Ashleigh. They have seven children, including six very active boys and one girl. When he’s not shuttling boys to practices and games, Dale enjoys gardening, tending trees, reading, watching BYU sports and doing laundry. Dale is probably most well­known locally for his music composition and piano playing. In college, he played keyboard for various shows and groups, including the BYU Young Ambassadors. Since moving home, he has continued to write songs and producevarious piano albums. He loves accompanying and performing and has made many great friends while sharing his music. Dale not only has a great ear for music, but a great ear for people. He is a wonderful listener and a loyal friend. He sincerely enjoys his patients and is committed to continually honing his skills to better serve them. He loves his new career as a PA with the Idaho Hand Institute and is looking forward to meeting and helping new and returning patients.

  • Jason Romriell

    Certified Physician Assistant

    A native of Pocatello, Jason Romriell serves as one of our skilled Physician's Assistant's, and has been practicing in Orthopedics since 2001. He graduated from Highland High School after which he served in the Navy as a hospital corpsman. He also served a Spanish – speaking mission for the LDS church in San Antonio, Texas. In 2001 he graduated from the PA Program at Idaho State University. Jason is a member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery. In 2011 Jason accompanied Dr. Vermon Esplin on a Humanitarian Mission to Peru. He spent two weeks caring for patients in outlying villages. He also assisted in several surgeries in a community hospital in Cuzco, Peru. Jason and his wife, Sabrina, have five children. They enjoy snow skiing, water activities, and spending time together as a family. Jason also enjoys his job and the opportunity he has to work closely with Dr. Esplin, Dr. Stucki and Dr. Miller.
